Once I heard the opinion of a well-known musician,
that the best improvisations are thought out and precisely prepared beforehand.
Then the emotions of plaing live add unexpected vibrations.
My PARTITURES - COMPOSITIONS OF TIME AND SPACE
are born in exactly the same way.
Each picture is a singular improvisation, thought out and planned ahead of time.
I believe, the working method, in combination with the tools I use,
make this work without any precedent in the photography of nature or cityscapes.
They are recorded on film at the moment of shutter release,
WITHOUT ANY SUBSEQUENT COMPUTER MANIPULATION. |
